From mangrove-lined bays to expansive coral flats, our fisheries cover some of the most diverse and productive fly fishing habitats in Puerto Rico.
No Name Lodge gives you access to two of the best fly fishing locations in Puerto Rico, each with its own unique water, terrain, and vibe. Whether you’re hunting tarpon in mangrove creeks or scanning pancake flats for tailing permit, you’ll have the right tools and local knowledge to make it happen.
Our home base. Boquerón offers quick access to sheltered bays, channels, and mangrove shorelines where juvenile tarpon thrive. It’s a consistent fishery with year-round potential and ideal conditions for sight fishing or blind casting. Plus, it’s close to great food, laid-back nightlife, and the kind of small-town energy that makes you want to stay longer.
Salinas is all about the flats & mangrove-lined bays; clean, hard-bottom coral rubble and sand flats on the outside and a maze of mangrove-lined shoreline on the inside. This fishery is more technical, more remote, and tailor-made for anglers chasing shots at big tailing permit. We launched this zone to expand your options and provide serious permit hunters with a dedicated playground, while also offering the tarpon fishing for which Puerto Rico is renowned.

Permit Habitat
Boquerón is the beating heart of No Name Lodge. This classic west coast Puerto Rico fishery gives anglers consistent access to juvenile tarpon in the 10–40 lb range, with mangrove-lined bays, tidal creeks, and sheltered lagoons just minutes from the dock. It’s a versatile zone, perfect for sight fishing when the sun’s high or blind casting under clouds and in tight cover. The area’s forgiving conditions make it ideal for both beginners and returning anglers looking for steady action. Off the water, Boquerón’s beach town vibe brings good food, cold drinks, and a dose of culture, making it just as fun to explore after the rods are racked.
La Parguera is a maze of mangrove islands, hidden channels, and backwater flats; the kind of place where tarpon hold tight in the shade, waiting to ambush a well-placed fly. This area offers a little more seclusion than Boquerón and rewards anglers who love technical presentations in tighter quarters. Depending on the tide, you’ll hunt laid-up tarpon in glassy coves, drift along mangrove walls, or sneak into narrow lagoons where rolling fish give away their position. There are also great permit flats in this area allowing for some hybrid angling. With its rich biodiversity and quiet feel, La Parguera is a favorite for those who want to get lost, in a good way.
Salinas offers a mix of flats and mangrove-lined bays, with clean coral rubble and sand flats on the outside and a maze of shoreline on the inside. The fishery here is diverse and rewarding, giving anglers opportunities at permit while also delivering the plentiful tarpon action Puerto Rico is known for. We added this zone to broaden your options—whether you’re hunting tailing fish on the flats or enjoying steady shots at tarpon, Salinas provides a balanced, exciting experience.
